Pia - No problem, but they need to pay for it.

Pia - Fixing OC ticket
Pia - Sending money for folks that need to pay for visas. We have about 4 or 5 people that ticket need to be paid up front.
Ben - If they don’t have a current passport, it might not happen in time.
Pia - pretty much saying yes to everyone.
Ben - Flights out of DC for those 2 days have gone up by a factor of 5. We’ve got about 18k of the $22k spent now. We need a buffer.
Pia - We need more sponsors. We don’t even have the ford funds yet. We are getting it after the fact. Will do another push today with companies.
Cat - Pia, Have you talked to redhat? I pinged her and she said something about wanting to send 2 people.
Pia - Talking to Shirley.. trying to see how much funds they have left for this. We are waiting to hear from cloud flare as well. Talking to MS / Karl to see if they can pitch something in. Will do another round of emails. Emailed original list again to see who will come. Make sure we are reaching out to different communities.
Eric - Can talk with Airbrake.
Cat - I will talk to Cloudera.
Pia - whats the name of the meet up space we did for open collective meet up in London? Skills Matter. Maybe we can reach out to them. If you can think of companies in London, ie. Co-working spaces that want their name in the OSS space, we should talk with them.

Pia - Childcare .. we may not need it. Put deadline for end of September to see if we need to organize anything.
Richard - Open source summit has many sponsors there.. potential pitch might be “if anyone’s coming from OSS summit, send this to their members”.
Pia - We don’t need a lot, we just need a buffer. We need around $5k extra.
Pia - Start emailing attendees and building structure.
Justin - Whats the total people that are going?
Pia - 40 registrants excluding ourselves. We expect around 80-100. Haven’t done anything yet with people in London.. we just don’t know yet. Are we doing cross-promotion with Mozilla?
Justin - It’s taking longer than I thought. Still talking with Jesse. Wrapping up stuff.
Pia - This will finish topping up the numbers.
Richard - Protocol labs?
Pia - They are coming to sustain. Nadia is coming. She’s now part of protocol labs. If you know anyone else in there, it might help.
