review and update static pages

Our static pages are, well, static. They've been pretty much unchanged since we did our Polymer upgrade. There are, doubtless, several things that could be improved. I've been waiting for the finalization of the shift to bilara, so now that's done.

We should review all pages. Generally:

• keep things simple
• aim to only include on SC relatively timeless info, keep active things on Discourse or Github.
• Having said which, some notifications of updates might be fine.

Here I'll start making a list of updates and corrections.

• license: remove the zen painting acknowledgement, add acknowledgement for Skolar fonts
• fix epubs!
• update PO to bilara in /numbering.
• see whether recommended links for essays and the like are still valid.
• add links for the work our friends have done!
• in /introduction, maybe embed something from Buddhanexus for relations?
• make /abbreviations driven by JSON, specifically the files in sc-data/misc (which should be renamed BTW!)
• update acknowledgements (also maybe make that JSON?)
• update about page
• see about updating references on getting started page
• update indexes, especially checking the links work. In some cases (late in AN 4s for example) the numbering between Thanissaro and Bodhi/SC differs.

Further on the /licensing page we can remove the following:

• “Language” ISO icons by Krzysiek Woźniak based on a design by Jonathan Coutiño
• “Disconnected cloud icon” by Bernar Novalyi.
• The paintings on the Home page are by the Australian artist Kim Hoa Tram, and are used by kind permission of the artist and the National Gallery of Victoria. These and other works by Kim Hoa Tram may be seen at the National Gallery of Victoria website.

There's only the "difficulty" icons left, so we can say:

I will work on this. I will remove any translations that have been done and leave them blank so (if everything works as it should) the translators will eventually see that this page is no longer 100% for them.
