Every single time I log to KDE I get the following error message:

Seeing this on Kubuntu 10.04, of course the number in the second of the four
pop-ups is different.
I started with google gadgets GTK and am trying QT instead, perhaps there is a
slight difference in the local storage?

Having pretty much the same issue. Started out fine as far as I know, but it's
on a friends comp, so it took me longer to notice.

I found a workaround:
What's happening is that it's failing to handle the parameters passed to it by
the session management on startup. It's thinking they are filenames.

So in System Settings, in the Session Management module (which for me is in
System Administration -> Startup and Shutdown -> Session Management, because I
have the treeview on) Add ggl-qt to the list of applications to be excluded
from sessions. (it's comma separated) This may take a couple reboots to take
effect, I don't know why.

Then in the Autostart module (should be nearby) add Google Gadgets (Qt) (which
is /usr/bin/ggl-qt if browsed for)

This should really just be fixed to work with session management properly, but
until it is, I have it pop-up free on my machine.

Hi,

I have the same issue with Ubuntu 10.04...
Any ideas on how to apply the fix on Ubuntu (Gnome)? I cannot find and session
manager... :-S

Thank you!

I'm confused... I have no ability for any lists at all in session manager.
is this a gnome fix?
I'm running KDE - bulk standard squeeze install.
there's only radion buttons in session manager for me :(
I've looked at every other possibly relevant (and many others too) sess man
window, but no joy.
could anyone poss help me out a bit?
