yes it is still under investigation. I found out that the problem seems to be the cross talk and not the flat field. I reduced the data using the two flat field available with cross talk on and off and the problem come out with cross talk ON and old flat field. I have reported the test on the pessto data quality old page. transferring the issue here.
I tried to reduce the images with old and new flat field (old flat field=Apr 2012, new flat=Apr 2014) data are from Apr 2013. Even though both flat field are +-1 year from observations, the problem seems to be the crosstalk correction (not the flat field)
I tried several test, but I do't understand what is happening. I reduce these data only with old flat field and the result is ok, only with cross-talk and the result is good, with cross-talk and old flat field and the result is bad. I don't know how to fix it
After running PESSTOSOFIPHOT for the old SN2013ak data set the sky subtracted and merged images are full of artifacts. The raw science frames look fine. The bug is still under investigation?
