To simplify testing, I think we should update linux_build_test.yml in a separate PR once the docker images have been built

You are saying to update linux_build_test.yml after this PR gets merged?

Relevant tests to build the docker images passed on commit 262678a so I'll consider that sufficient.

BTW, the update to linux_build_test.yml can come from your fork - it doesn't need to be from a branch in this upstream repo
