Can't save/add new hosts #223

Open icarusmiles opened 7 years ago

icarusmiles commented 7 years ago

Anytime I try and add a host either via the command line or through the menu it doesn't save - no response at all.

I get to the add a new host screen, I've tried both FTP/SFTP. After either hitting enter or save I get no feedback and when I browse hosts no results.

Just trying to install remote-edit on Windows 10. Can't save hosts either.

ozone1979 commented 7 years ago

Shux, neither this nor ftp-remote-edit is working. Bummer. All I wanted is a text editor to take the place of Notepad++

icarusmiles commented 7 years ago

@ozone1979 Same here, I love the customization of Atom but I like the simplicity of the Notepad++ integration.

ghost commented 7 years ago

Because of this issue I replaced this package with atom-commander. https://atom.io/packages/atom-commander Seems to be working fine so far. Not sure if that will do what you require but worth a try

ozone1979 commented 7 years ago

Just tried that one (atom-commander), and it isn't connecting at all. Dang! Even white-listed it in Windows Firewall.

icarusmiles commented 7 years ago

This is a identical plugin for Atom and it works perfectly!

Got the same issue on Windows 7. Console says fs.js was unable to access remoteEdit.json in default location somewhere in AppData. Changed default path in settings and everything was OK.
