Svelte Documentation in Bahasa Indonesia

Describe the problem

I am a web developer from Indonesia, I work with react and am new to svelte. So far I am loving it, the tutorial and documentation really helpful and beginner friendly unlike react documentation and tutorial. Coming from a country in South East Asia the majority of the population doesn't speak English and even if English is one of the compulsory subjects in our high school curriculum most people don't speak and hardly understand English at a conversational level.

The problem that I see a lot of people in my country face when start learning web development:

• Documentation Language Barrier
• Lack of tutorial in Bahasa Indonesia available online

Since the most popular framework is react a lot of tutorials in Bahasa Indonesia teach react, and from most people that I have talked to it is not the most helpful tutorial and prone to make people stucked in tutorial hell.

Describe the proposed solution

Coming from react background, I feel that svelte documentation and tutorial is better than React and even better than most tutorial videos on youtube that use Bahasa Indonesia. Not only svelte tutorial teaches step by step in a clear concise manner, and it also uses language that is not highly technical.

So I propose to contribute to the community by translating the documentation and tutorial bit by bit from English to Bahasa Indonesia.

who this solution benefit for?

• Indonesian that have English level skill bellow conversational level that want to expand their knowledge in web development

Not only this will help a lot of people in my country that want to learn web development, and will also grow the svelte comunity and hopefully ecosystem.

Alternatives considered

so far I haven't got other alternatives to solve this problem other than make a youtube channel myself and make video about svelte.

Right now we don't have mechanism for maintaining multiple languages of the docs. We are not sure yet how the best workflow would look like for us, though it's definitely on our radar to solve this at some point, either through a proper solution or through clear guidance on how to setup an unofficial port of the site.
