The latest version is available, Update now message persistent. #204

Running https://unpkg.com/@sveltia/cms/dist/sveltia-cms.js which shows 0.39.9.

Maybe the message continues appearing due to file cache on either browser or CDN. Will figure out how to work around it.

https://unpkg.com/ says

Redirects are cached for 10 minutes at the CDN, 1 minute in browsers.
