For fabric, definitely. Not as certain about forge, but it is planned to come out soon for fabric.

Why is it coming out on fabric? I wasn't able to find fabric versions for any of the mods it adds compatibility for

Nothing's been updated as the mod hasn't been ready. There have been so many things going on and fabric Covalent is such an undertaking that it's taken a lot more time than expected. But right now there will be compat for Traverse, Terrestria, Wild Explorer and Better End.
