Please pull this modifications to make the extension compatible with Typo3 version 11.x.

The backwards compatibility should not be affected (tested with v10).
The extension version number is not touched.

Are there merging and new version in sight @svewap ?

At this moment this project has no priority, because we are concentrating on the more powerful ext https://github.com/WapplerSystems/ws_slider which has a ws_flexslider importer ;-)
