As this filter is not yet released to maven central I propose to either create a build for releasing it or contributing it to the alpakka repository where you don't have to care for managing the releases on your own.

I can help you if you decide to contribute it.

So do you favour releasing it to maven central or contributing it to alpakka? If you decide on keeping it in your repo you could get it listed here: https://developer.lightbend.com/docs/alpakka/current/external-connectors.html
