One-sentence description

The alumnicie would like a page on the website that explains what we do and shows all future events.

Motivation

We would like a central place were alumni can find information about future events. We'll add a link in the event description where they can register without needing a Thalia account. A page would allow us to communicate this to alumni.

Desired functionality

The page would contain a piece of general information about alumni events. It would contain a list with future events, around 4/5. All the events will contain a piece of information about the event together with the title and date.

Suggested implementation

We trust in your expertise.

We can maybe (ab)use the "organised by: Alumni committee" field to list their events automatically...

Ah we were thinking about adding a new category for Alumni type events. But that's probably better.

Hey Technicie. I discussed this issue a bit with the alumnicie. Do you think this page could be up and running before thursday the 22th of November (the earlier the better)? This would help us promote our first events more in time, and could be useful for alumni ordering pizza's (via a Google Form) on our first event.

Nederlandsch: Welkom! Je bevindt je momenteel op de alumnipagina van studievereniging Thalia. De alumnicommissie van Thalia organiseert samen met Ninja jaarlijks een drietal evenementen, toegankelijk voor iedereen die informatica of informatiekunde aan de Radboud Universiteit studeert of heeft gestudeerd. De evenementen die we organiseren hebben als voornaamste doel op een informele wijze zowel momenten uit het verleden te herbeleven, als de sfeer van nu te proeven in contrast met die van vroeger. We hopen zo op een leuke manier een brug te vormen tussen alumni en studenten. Daarnaast is er de mogelijkheid onder het genot van een hapje en een drankje kennissen van toen weer te spreken. Onderaan deze pagina kan je via onze agenda volgen wanneer deze evenementen plaatsvinden en wat ze inhouden. Ook kan je je daar aanmelden voor het betreffende evenement. Thalia's alumni committee, together with Ninja, organizes three events each year, welcoming anyone who studies or has studied computing science or information sciences at Radboud University. The main purpose of the events we organize is to relive moments from the past in an informal way and to taste the atmosphere of today in contrast to that of the past.
