Sony Bravia EX 'Playback not available' error #36

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Browse to any video file served by UMS on the Sony Bravia EX TV.
2. Open it.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
UMS will start buffering correctly, but suddenly the TV will disconnect and
display the 'Playback not available error'. UMS stops buffering.
Expected output would be the movie ofcourse.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Vanilla UMS (2.2.6) installation

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm streaming via wifi. The same setup works fine with PMS.
The TV get's detected just fine within PMS, browsing and all is also working
fine. It simply disconnect when the buffer reaches the correct size to start
playing on TV. You'll never see any image of the movie on the TV itself.
