Touchpad scrolling #9

After I installed macOS, i cant use two fingers to scroll on the touchpad or use the middle button for the trackpoint to scroll. Apart from that everything works perfectly fine.

If you have the original Synaptics touchpad in your T440p and you used the latest EFI with macOS 11.x, it should work without any issues. (I used this config as my mac-only daily driver for months without problems.) Regarding the trackpoint scroll, I never tried it before (but as other gestures work, I guess it should work too)

Sorry, i forgot to add, i swapped the touchpad for the t450s touchpad with the buttons, i think it is the alps model.

I see. With Alps touchpads life is definitely harder. You may try to switch kexts in my EFI to these (if my EFI doesn't have one with the same name don't forget to also add them in config.plist) Here and here

Thanks a lot. The kext from the first link worked. Thanks a lot for the guide and the efi folder. I even got wifi working with the stock wifi card using itlwm and HeliPort.

I'm glad I could help. I added fix for this issue in Wiki.
