Cannot access sc-nightly on *rooted* Oneplus 5 #811

Operating system / hardware

OnePlus 5, Model A5000, OS: Oxygen V 5.1.5, Android Version 8.1.0, Chrome V 68.0.3440.91

note: Matt figured out it is due to the one+ being rooted

this goes on hold, is too complex to debug right now, on rooted phones
