What happens when my server dies and i reinstall my masternode again - ill get a new masternodeid - how can i then unlink my old one to get my new one? or can i edit this to my old one and start a new server https://github.com/swarmfund/swarm-masternode/blob/master/docker-compose.yml#L26

When you reinstall your masternode you will get a new masternode ID and the old one will be automatically disabled (you can not unlink anything as it is automatically disabled). The new masternode will have to go through Warmup period and will have to be connected with the wallet address (It can be the same wallet address as one that have been associated with the old masternode). In case old Masternode was supposed to earn some reward for the service that it has provided before server died (and it was automatically disabled), reward should be distributed to that (old) Masternode (more precise to its old wallet address)
