blocked on #581 - setup's different if it's in its own repo, so let's avoid a migration

https://api-preprod.swarmsim.com is now live, but not yet pushed from travis. I want travis pushes before closing this.

autodeploy had the wrong secret-key, ffs. totally my fault though. works now though! travis finishes long before eb's done deploying, unlike when deploying by hand with eb-cli.

made #588 to know when a deploy's done.
