Floating window lag #4800

I'm having a weird issue with xwayland windows. When I float a program running in xwayland and move the window around on a hidpi monitor, there is a lag in the window following the cursor. There is no lag in the frame movement. So you get this weird detachment between the window and the frame. Can anybody else reproduce this? Even weirder, when I try to get a screencapture with wl-recorder, the lag is gone.

I don't see this, dragging around a floating chromium window
