Feature Request - status displays such as time, battery life, network connections

It would be nice to wake my laptop for a moment to check the time and make sure that the battery still has a decent charge. I'm sure there are other status displays that can be useful as well, such as basic network status, cpu usage, memory usage, etc.

Sorry, this is out-of-scope for swaylock. I'd recommend using or opening a feature request on one of the alternative screen lockers.
