Upstream currently plans to add topics to all the lessons. Main discussion is here: https://github.com/carpentries/maintainer-RFCs/issues/5

TL;DR version: (1) Topics that all lessons will receive are here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ftV5L2C01aeHrMTWG0WWVm3MSeHMFZOEKw2a7ing138/edit#gid=0

(2) we need to discuss which topics we want to see as our topics_skills (column H in the above spreadsheet)

Looking at what topics are used int he spreadsheet as well as what is in use on GitHub, I think those all make sense to use.
