I think on-site HPC Carpentries will probably include shell/Git or shell/Python on day 1. We may only have a chance to present day 2 for Supercomputing.

@shwina Your description is much more comprehensive! Also I imagine we could work quicker if you commit to the master branch instead of using pull requests (on a repository where you have push access) so that git fetch upstream from forked repositories gets your most recent edits.
