I'd started poking at this in September 1, but lacking a Windows system to test on I didn't get all that far. If someone else wants to pick up where I left off, they're welcome to steal my commit.

Okay, I can have a windows install available, I'll at least give your version a try.

Yes, this is something I would like to add, as well as Python install.
