Cannot Controll playback from the extension #121

Describe the bug

Extension cannot control playback or play music from recommendations. I can see currently playing tracks but could not control playback

ISSUE TYPE

Steps to reproduce

  1. Installed Music time, logged in
  2. Tried to play music from the extension Sidebar (Wouldn't work)
  3. Made sure spotify is connected,
  4. Played music on Spotify app which shows up on status bar and inside the extension (But, Unable to control)

Expected behavior

To Play and control music on spotify with the extension

ACTUAL RESULTS

Couldnt control playback

Issue occurs both when VS Code was running within WSL and outside WSL

Read the Documentation. Music Time player controls ⚠️ Music Time requires a premium Spotify account and an internet connection to control your music on Windows and Linux. If you are using macOS, Music Time can also control the Spotify desktop app using AppleScript as either a premium or non-premium user.
