Currently, speed improvements could be realized for the bilateral indices and geks() within the spin()-function.
For each bilateral index the base region prices are merged. This should be done once and then all bilateral indices can be computed from the same dataset.
For geks(), the price and quantity pair matrices are derived for each bilateral index. This should be done once and then all GEKS-indices can be computed from these matrices.
