Other DAWs allow me to insert a note and set its length with one click: the note gets inserted, and as long as I hold the mouse button, I can drag the note end left and right to adjust the length. BEAST only inserts a note with the (predefined) length. I can then click again to adjust the length, but this could be done with one click.
