If I edit a part, beast uses default values for HZoom and VZoom. However, if the part is just one bar with a few events, then I have to rezoom (quite a bit) every time I open the part. The BEAST UI could instead compute HZoom and VZoom so that all my events are visible and fit into the piano roll view nicely. Other DAWs do that.
