compared to actual history the chinese army and economy is overpowered

movements like the cultural revolution are supposed to greatly damage china and hamper its economic growth china has no significant industries and its collectivisation programs and industrial programs all fail and massive famines are caused in the 1960s and 1970s but in the game the chinese have massive construction and production bonuses and their economy grows at a rapid pace until the late 70s china is supposed to have a food shortage but in game it always seems to have food surplus because of this china becomes as strong as a superpower in the game even though in actual history it remained a backward country till deng xiaoping opened the economy in 1978 i request you to address this issue as it is difficult to defeat china in a war due to its overpowered army and economy

(i played as india and when i switched to china i was shocked to see just how powerful the chinese economy had grown despite the fact that chinese and indian economy grow at the same rate till the 1980s in history)
