Hello,
We've also consistently observed this bug in primerclip when IO involves a networked drive. I will add a note in the documentation about this, thank you for bringing it to our attention. We're hoping to eliminate the problem so folks don't have to worry about where input/output is coming/going, we'll be in touch if/when we have an update that fixes the issue.

Hi team,
While the program seems to work well, I got an error related to running the program over a networked drive: primerclip: path_to_file/filename.sam: hClose: hardware fault (Input/output error)
I regularly run my NGS analyses from a server that's networked to a larger storage space without issue. It seems this program is more sensitive to the network location than others. All ran fine once primerclip was run on local files. No need to fix necessarily (although not ideal), but a note in the docs would help.
Thanks!

Is the issue fix or not? Because I have same bug. Thank you.
