Experience Works has expressed concern over the lack of security on their system.

Staff and participants have been noticing warning messages about security when they login.

Could you please acquire a SSL Certificate and install it on SwiftInTech.com ?

From what I can see, a "wildcard SSL certificate" will secure the SwiftInTech.com domain and it's sub-domains...so I guess that's what you'd be acquiring.

For what it's worth, I see GoDaddy has intro-pricing on a wildcard SSL cert of $279.99 USD and then $379.99 USD per year thereafter...while Amazon, which I assume you'd be managing the SSL cert install through...has some AWS Certificate Manager...which perhaps you can utilize for better pricing.

As per the the FAQ page on Amazon (https://aws.amazon.com/certificate-manager/faqs/), the Amazon Certificate Manager (ACM) provides certificates for/with wildcard domains. More about the Amazon AWS Certificate Manager is located here (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/acm/latest/userguide/acm-overview.html).

EW trusts the cost of the SSL certificate would be nominal (as per the annual $279.99 USD GoDaddy example above)...and would be included as an add-on expense to one of your upcoming monthly invoices. If I'm missing something though and the SSL certificate pricing works out to something a lot more than that...could you please let me know before proceeding?

Sorry, we're going to have to put this on hold until Eileen confirms they're OK to proceed.

Hi Darren,

This SSL related ticket is back on again.

Eileen needs a quote on this.

As in, how much for the certificate annually and how much of your time would be required to install it on SwiftInTech.com.

Please advise at your earliest convenience.

Thanks,

Marc
