Anm actually hoping for an option where Open Hardware Monitor users has an
option to change the background color being used for Open Hardware Monitor's
Windows 7 Desktop Gadget so in that way users may be able to match colors with
their desktop theme. Since someone have raised this concern - I might as well
join the issue submitter's call regarding this one as well. To be honest - I
was hoping for this when I found out that Open Hardware Monitor updated to 0.51
Beta and was a bit dismayed that there's still no option to change the
background color - that aside everything's great and totally loving the update.

Currently there is no background color for tray icons, as the background is
transparent. Do you want the transparent color to be replaced with a selectable
solid color?
About the desktop gadget: Take a look at Issue 221. The background image of the
desktop gadget can already be customized, its just not really documented yet.

Yes, I want possibility to change background transparent color with a
selectable solid color. Attach, for example.

I am finding that the "Load" sensors in the tray are impossible to read no
matter what colour I make them. A background and foreground colour adjustment
option would be useful.

This would be very welcome, indeed. Selectable background color for tray icons,
as currently only the foreground color is selectable but visibility can be
problematic for some Windows themes where only few colors are decently visible.
Selectable background color would change this, as the user can select, for
example, specific colors for temperatures and other colors for different info.
If I want to currently have red color for temperatures I simply cannot use it
as red numbers with transparent background are not visible on my theme.

I agree with the request. Temperatures in tray aren't so well readable in
windows 8 transparent tray bar.
