Feature Request: Landing Page

First impressions are everything, I feel that the landing page even without playback history data it could still be quite engaging by showing a page with sections such as:

• Recently Added Tracks _(using datemodified metadata)
• Random Tracks (well, it says it all - doesn't need complex logic to it in its first iteration) And for something like this maybe haha:
• ***Recently Released Tracks (using online music db like musicbrainz or lastfm?)

I understand I had brought up a similar suggestion before and rightfully so, you had genuine reasons why it couldn't be implemented at time.

It's nice to see that you're still using Swing Music. I appreciate it.

I'm still with the same reasons we discussed before. I'm avoiding doing what every other app does. Showing random things on the homepage can make it look nice (aesthetically speaking), but it's no use if you won't actually interact with them.

I agree with having recently added items on the homepage. eg. recently added tracks, albums, favorites, etc.

We'll actually be getting a proper homepage soon. It will be the beginning of the Swing Music I had envisioned. The real "like Spotify but bring your own music" kind of thing. It will require some sort of sign up and authentication so new code might go private.
