Use NetCDF and THREDDS tools more #2

I have been really impressed with NetCDF and THREDDS. GeoTIFF is great but I think incorporating these other tools may enhance the packate.

Also if data providers (BoM) move to publishing via NetCDF as I have heard they want to it would be great to be prepared
