Hey! First of all, I would like to thank you for this amazing watch face. 🙏 You should consider putting up a donate link for those who want to show their support. 😄 Would you consider publishing the source code for the watch face? Or, alternatively, sharing it privately? I'd like to create a fork of it so I can play around with the colours and positioning. Thank you!

I had my apps open source years ago - but since each app has a unique ID, the code continued to be used without changing that ID, causing problems for users, but also when uploading new versions, which the Garmin Store refused (since the ID was no longer unique). I added individual users to my private repo when they wrote to me privately.

I understand, thank you for your response. :) Can I please also get access to the private repo? 🙏

You should have an invitation. Please keep in mind that this is a code from an autodidact. 😉

nyancow commented 1 year ago

That's the best kind of code 😄 Thank you @swissalpine!

Hello @swissalpine

glad I found this thread instead of opening a new one. Thank you for the nice work! Could you also send me a invite to the private repo? I'd like to tinker with the styling of the watchface wihtout the worry of writing the whole communication myself (im not thaaat great of a programmer). No upload of the face will happen, so no messy ID complications :)

Thanks und liebe Grüße

You should have an invitation. Viele Grüße zurück!

I'd suggest adding this to the readme. I can't say I like not being able to tweak stuff for myself, but I very much understand the pragmatic reality here.

Any chance I could get access to the repo? I love this face but I'd like to make a couple tweaks.

swissalpine commented 10 months ago

@bathompson I have invited you - but please read the restrictions and instructions I have given above. And don't forget: you are not reading a professional's code ...

Hello, just found out this question and happy user of the watchface. However, I would be interested in suggesting some design for less technical people, would you be interested to adding me to your private repo? Would love to learn how difficult is it to create a new watchface, where I change the design only
