We are currently using the OpenAPI v3.0.1

SHOULD

The OpenAPI version v3.1.0 would enable more possibilities, e.g. base64 encoded XML can be defined precisly.

@ochatelain asserts current missing compatibility and dependences on applications and suggests envisaging the upgrade for V6 (November 2026). This suggestion was confirmed.
