Hi there,

after installing qt face trainer, following this guide
(http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Gesichtserkennung), I wanted to copy the file
"kgreet_faceauthenticate.so" by using this command: sudo cp
/usr/kde/4/lib/kde4/kgreet_faceauthenticate.so /usr/lib/kde4/ .
This failed, because there is no file named kgreet_faceauthenticate.so

What can I do ? Where can I get the file kgreet_faceauthenticate.so ?

Thank You or helping

Sorry, I forgot to tell that I am using Ubuntu / Kubuntu 10.4 on a 64-Bit
machine.

On GDM and Gnome the "face-login" and qt face trainer is working well, but on
kdm and kde (4) it is not working, so I believe, I must have the file named
kgreet_faceauthenticate.so on my system...

Probably the current PFA version doesn't work with KDE > 4.4. This is mentioned
in the wiki article too "Die derzeitige Version funktioniert aber nur mit KDE
4.4."
If the file is stored elsewhere you might look it up on your system and move it
manually to /usr/lib/kde4 (or whatever folder folder is appropriate).

Personally I'm using it with Ubuntu + Gnome which works fine so far :)

i did not recognize that part in the article, the file does not exist on my
system.
I deactivated the PFA for KDM / KDE because it works terrible.
(Sometmes it works, sometime not, sometimes it hangs up.....)
thank you for your statement !
