Colcon emits the following warnings when building due to the build type not getting exported in the metapackage.

CMake Warning:
  Manually-specified variables were not used by the project:

    CATKIN_INSTALL_INTO_PREFIX_ROOT
    CATKIN_SYMLINK_INSTALL
