Adding Apple TV (last version) stop homey device #238

Hey, Since one week my Apple TV can’t be used with homey. All the device synchronised with homeykit are out until i delete my Apple TV. So I can’t use homey devices trough homekit. I restart all the systems. Reset homeykit… I hope a new release (iOS or homeykit) to resolve the problems.

I don't have an Apple TV so I don't know exactly how you use it with Homey. Where do you delete Apple TV from?

I use my Apple TV in HomeKit to share the homey device in the Apple interface (home app) I delete Apple TV directly in Apple app.

You mean as a Home Hub? You don't necessarily need one if you only want to access the Homey devices locally. Try turning it off (I only know how to do this with an iPad: "Settings > Home > Use this iPad as a Home Hub").

Ok. I did it for the last year but now with ios16 you have to use HomePod or Apple TV to do the same. 😭

You can still use an iPad as Home Hub, but it won't support all new features (I don't know which ones those are, but I'm still using an old iPad as Home Hub myself so it seems to be working).

Any solutions to this problem? Same thing happens when you add a homepod instead of the apple tv. Ipad not supported from ios 16. Ive noticed that the homeykit-app uses more than 30 mb memory… Great app by the way! 👍
