I can't seem to find documentation covering how to control the media in the Slider block. "Add new" seems to create arbitrary slides not connected to the Media Library - called things like "My New Slide." I'm happy to settle for a simple full width Image block instead, but that doesn't seem to be an option either - they only seem to span one column.
I'll fully admit my newb status, especially with building my own page templates, but my efforts to figure this out on my own have failed. Would love it if some kind soul would point me in the right direction.
