BlueRip SVN R113 - Re-encode #4

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Completed project
2. Cannot load/reload demuxed streaminfo after above project completes
3. Cannot re-encode even if previous project output deleted BRX_video.mkv

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expect to be able to
reload demuxed stream info to start re-encode. Instead, re-encode is bypassed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SVN R113 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit running x264 encode in 32 bit mode

Please provide any additional information below. THIS WORKS ON VERSION 4.9
after reloading demuxed stream info AND deleting previous encode output
BRX_video.mkv file

Tested with a small sample now:

Used "Start" to do all steps. After muxing I deleted test_video.mkv (used
"test" as prefix). (The demuxed stream list is still in memory - no need to
reload)
When I hit "Start" again the video is encoded again as expected.
Deleted the video again and hit "Only encode" - works, too.

Can you provide more info on your settings/errors?

Hawk, sorry for the belated reply. I copied the "settings.xml" file over from
4.9 to the SVN version and re-ran. I then chose "encode" and "mux", after
changing the encode settings, and hit "Start". It ran no problem (after
deleting xxx_video.mkv file from previous encode, of course). However, choosing
"only encode" radio button does not work???

What exactly does not work? If you you delete the output video and hit "Only
encode" nothing happens?

Correct - nothing happens. Again, checking "encode" and hitting "start" worked
fine.

P.S. - Any further thought on the option for adding hard coded "forced"
subtitle? I know it can be accomplished using VobSub/Avisynth but it requires
that you look in the temp files folder for your naming convention for the
subtitle file. For example, "movie_0x_language_forced.idx"

Thanks again.
