Some AMD users cannot play 4K videos in PinUp, all depended on GPU and driver. Mainly high-end 5000, 6000 series and 7000 Series, Nailbuster posted a work-around on the wiki https://www.nailbuster.com/wikipinup/doku.php?id=recording_table_media (towards bottom of page "My Playfield video won't play....")
The fix is using output type FFMPEG to use YUY2 (16bit), however these recorded videos in this format, can not be previewed in Vpin Studio. This was not the case a few versions back 2.17.3. This could be an issue my end, as the videos in windows explorer do not show the video thumbnail.
