2 months ago It used to catch player offline messages when you sent a message to someone offline. Not sure about the shift-clicking behavior. I haven't played in some time now (since begging of wrath on classic). I have a list of items i need to look into when I get a moment to install the game again, I'll definitely look at this too. Is this Retail/Classic/Both?

2 months ago Hey Pazza, thank you for your response!! To answer your last question: this is for the retail version.

I see - yeah, I believe since the addon keeps a message log - it still keeps all messages you send? regardless, if its to an offline party or not? Either way, unfortunately, there is no indication when a message is sent to someone offline. Which would hopefully prevent a one-sided conversation to continue when I don't know someone logged.
Hopefully, you get to log on and do what you do. Until then, thank you, for your time and help on this - greatly appreciate it!

2 months ago Just a tad bit of info - it looks like the Shift+Click does work - the information will show on the Wow Default Chat window rather than the WIM one.

2 months ago @dannydan187 that is how it always behaved, and is working as intended. You can also click the shortcut on the top of WIM's shortcut bar to update and obtain this information.

2 months ago Okay, great - for whatever reason it wasn't working for me at the time of writing that. Glad it now works for me! Maybe something on my end.
Additionally, someone "signed off" and it prompted me that message thru the WIM window as I was chatting. Great! It also seems to be prompting the 'No player named '_____' is currently playing' message thru the WIM window as well.
One quirk, it seems I am unable to interact within the window for the Potentially inappropriate [Show Message] link. Any other items or ability work fine.

As far as the potentially inappropriate message links, many have reported this and I have not had the chance to look into it yet.
Able to shift+click a name of a person through the WIM window and it able to display the information as the regular non-addon chat would for that person's toon: name, guild name, raider io, etc.
Thru regular non-addon chat, when a person goes offline it will not show the message sent, but instead state that person is now offline. Is there a similar feature that shows this thru the WIM window? I've sent messages not knowing the person went offline thinking they received them since WIM did not tell me this.
In the history settings window, is there a way to have a button or right-click menu function to allow a whisper of that person thru that settings window? I believe you can just copy and paste their name if need be, but this one is more convenience sake. Additionally, could we have a filter to organize the history list of people to list by recent, rather than alphabetically?
If i overlooked any settings and these features are already part of the addon i apologize ahead of time! Any information would be great!
