What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just use it, anywhere or how.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A nearly black font. But that's BORING ....

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
But seriously, red or perhaps a nice shade of blue/red/purple would be better.
Personally, I've gotten really used to green on black. Can we do that?

(This is not a serious issue. I just wanted to be the one to ask for something
I think is, well, "silly", for a change. No offence intended. I need to do
something to keep happy in my little world, don't I? :p)
