System Extension problem #54

when installing, I get the following message. 
 The system extension "System/Library/Extensions/hpPluginInit.kext" was installed improperly and 
cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it , or contact the product's vendor 
for an update.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using Snow Leopard. 

What do I need to do to fix this problem?

This looks like a problem with HP and nothing to do with Soundflower.

I don't know what HP is.  I have a Mac 2.4 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo running Mac OS 
X 10.6.2 and everytime I try 
to install Sound flower...I get the above error message. Please help.
