brightness mode #732

The selection of the brightness mode should be left to the user. There should be a setting option in the docs. A bright, a dimmed and a dark mode should be available for the docs. Maybe a dimmed version would be the best way for the docs. In dark mode, the images should be dimmed a bit.

Here you have 5 different colours. In addition, there are different font sizes. This does not radiate a calmness that invites you to read. You should think about dimmed documentation.
