Using along with Maxivista creates screen conflict

I use Maxivista to stretch my screen on to 2 laptop
screens. I recently installed Synergy which works great,
however, when I use it in conjuction with Maxivista, it
seems that the client gets a signal that CTRL Key is
locked up.
To elaborate :
I use computer A as the server and B as the client using
Synergy.
I installed Maxivista on both Computers and Extended
Computer B's Desltop on to Computer A.
When I do that, it seems that one of the 2 applications
lock the CTRL Key and each time I try to click my mouse
on an item, more than one itams are selected. Please
help.

all i can suggest is to try synergy version 1.2.0.
