For example with Thunderbird, Lightning add-on may help managing / sharing schedule using iCalendar. Additionally, instead of Exchange Server, some server is needed (WebDAV, WCAP, Google Calendar or only a share on local network) to share schedule.
Currently Sympa itself does not provide those features.
We are attempting to move away from MS Outlook/Exchange email lists and want to leverage Sympa lists as managers and business units can easily manage subscribers and the many lists that staff want to utilize.
Are there suggested ways to include MS Outlook calendar invites within emails for the mailing lists easily.
I know one drawback is with Outlook lists, invites would get auto added to calendars, but with Sympa, assume the .ics needs to be attached and users must click to add.
Any other options or suggestions?
