Michael2987 commented 2 years ago

My iPhone 5 (5,1) reads after jailbreaking on iOS 6.1.4 on the Verbose boot text

installing physostigmine Failed to install physostigmine unmounting filesystems Flushing buffers

Then the phone freezes so I force reboot boot tethered boot it then there is a n1ghtshade app on the Home screen with no icon image and crashes as soon as I open it

edit: i used this version of n1ghtshade and it jailbroke successfully however the n1ghtshade app would refuse to get packages

I am having the exact same problem on my iPhone (5,2) when attempting to jailbreak iOS 6.1.3.

Michael2987 commented 2 years ago

I just jailbroke with 3utools and every time it would say waiting for reboot I would have to quickly boot tethered on my Mac. it works though

DONT JAILBREAK USING N1GHTSHADE. N1ghstahde's built-in jailbreak is full of issues and problems. Use p0sixspwn to jb 6.1.3.

I'm already jailbroken with n1ghtshade and upon every reboot I'm having to reboot to safemode, downgrade Cydia substrate to 6301, reboot, upgrade to 7101 every time. Someone knows a good way to switch to p0sixpwn without having to do a complete reinstall? I've already used the phone for more than 3 years in this state now that I have lots of configurations I don't want to lose.
