help -- windows is unable to locate file #1

your post on how to download SRIM on Mac has been very helpful!! however, I'm having an issue where when I run SRIM, it's unable to locate files it needs to calculate the stopping ranges. I think the problem is the step in which i open the windows terminal. It's unable to locate certain files, i think because they may be differently named to what you have in your google drive. Do you have any advice? If you still have the google drive, maybe you could reupload it?

Could you tell me more about the error you're facing, maybe attaching some screenshots? Is it something you get at installation time, or later when you use the software?

I re-uploaded the folder I'm mentioning in the instructions, in case you wanna try with a clean installation (it could be simply an issue with paths naming, as you suggested). The link should now be working. Let me know if that solves it.

Thanks so much for contacting me! So, I actually undid the zip with Unarchiver and now it seems to work! I also had to get Kegworks instead of Wineskin Winery. I'm honestly not sure why that worked, I had unzipped the file before using the SRIM installer...

My issue with your page was that at the step where I open the windows terminal, some of the commands resulted in a "file not found". Later, when I would open SRIM, it said it couldn't find some SRIM/TRIM file when I tried to run the visualization.

When I get the chance, I'll do all your original instructions to make sure the repo is working.

Happy to hear! I don’t know about Kegworks honestly, but I’m glad to hear it solved your issue!
