I would love to see a feature similar to Tivimate or any IPTV player.
You could take the shows you have in Trakt or search for shows and create your own fake TV channel. Setup your own schedules and everything and just sit back and just let things play out like the old days. That'll be real cool for people who still like the old school tv format but hates having to backing out of a show to go to another show.
