Hey all, Running Debian Stretch and followed the rootfs install instructions. Wondering if this is expected or a problem?

Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/snapd.service → /lib/systemd/system/snapd.service. Failed to reload daemon: Connection reset by peer

Stretch is probably not supported, I would try Jessie first.

Could you run

journalctl -u snapd

I ran this for a bit until it started to repeat, the command does not end, at least at the time of this message.

Everything seems to be ok, can you run again and post the full log including the start:

sudo ./installer_snapd.sh stable stable

arch is actually not used.

It may be this issue: https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/3353

Can you run this:

systemctl status lvm2-lvmetad.service

If it timesout can you reboot the pc and run this status again?

It did time out, but now I cannot seem to reboot, reinstalling debian stretch at the moment.

marxistvegan commented 6 years ago

This may in fact be bad hardware, let me dry a different drive.

marxistvegan commented 6 years ago

I am going to close this as I moved to testing out using Debian Jessie instead.
